+ LOST & FOUND

The festival breakdown has ended, and the beach is now back to being a regular beach with free access. While you are welcome to visit and look for lost items, please note that our team has already thoroughly swept and cleaned the area.

If you believe your lost item was/is on our beach and used an Airtag or Find My iPhone to locate it, be aware that the official retrieval dates have passed. The last opportunity to collect items was 05.08.2024 or 12.08.2024.

Any unclaimed items after these dates have been donated to a good cause. Items that could be identified have been gathered and brought to the local police station in Zeebrugge, where they will be stored for a limited time.

+ REFUND
Thank you! Instead of a refund, many of you chose to donate your refund (partially). We sincerely thank everyone who made this generous choice. Your donations will be distributed among the following organizations: Proper Strand Lopers, Klaprozen VZW, Vogelbescherming Vlaanderen, and For All Who Love Foundation.
The deadline to request a refund or donate your balance was from August 15th at 08:00 until August 25th at 08:00. Please be aware that refunds and donations were not automatic and had to be requested manually using the code on your wristband. We communicated this flow thoroughly on our website, via social media to all followers and through newsletters sent to all ticket buyers. Refund requests included a €1.50 administration fee and could take up to 10 days to process. Please note that money won in contests or any additional cup value was not refundable.
We appreciate your understanding. Thank you for joining us!
+ WHAT IS A CUP VALUE?

Cups, cans, bottles and food boxes have a value (€1.50) to prevent them from ending up on the beach. When empty, you can exchange them at the bars and recycling points to get your deposited money back or donate them to one of our good causes.

+ DISABILITY & ACCESS FOR EVERYONE

We’re dedicated to making our festival fully accessible for all festival fans, including visitors with special wishes and needs.

Here’s what we can do to help you have a good time with us;
Accessible sanitation , gender-neutral and water-flushed
– A reserved parking and drop-off zone
– Possibility to rent our beach wheelchairs
– An alternate entrance , if needed
– Safety Ambassadors on-site responsible for providing support and information

Please note that WECANDANCE is a festival on the beach, so it will never be 100% accessible. Visitors who require additional assistance can contact us at impact@wecandance.be. Please indicate which facilities you wish to use. We look into every case to see what we can do to get you moving smoothly and offer everyone a comfortable and unforgettable experience at WECANDANCE!

+ PHOTO & VIDEO

Your own material — Simple (digital) cameras and phones with cameras are allowed on our festival beach; professional cameras aren’t. Cameras with interchangeable lenses and larger cameras aren’t allowed on the festival site unless you enter the festival as press and request a photo pass in advance.

Recording for promo — By entering the festival, you give your automatic and explicit approval:
– to being photographed and filmed,
– to the organization and its partners to use and broadcast all images and footage for promotional purposes of the festival.

Recording for safety — Camera surveillance is used on the festival site according to the law of March 21st, 2007. This means that the police and/or organizer will register and save all images and footage to maintain and comply with site security. More information is in our General Terms and Conditions.

+ ADVERTISING AND PROMO

Flyers, posters, or other advertisements are not allowed without our permission. If you have any other questions about advertising or promotion on our beach, please contact info@wecandance.be and include PROMO INQUIRY as a subject.

+ I WANT TO WORK AT WECANDANCE

Sounds like a good plan! Make sure to mail your details to crew@lineup.be. WECANDANCE has no volunteer program you can join since we’re a commercial company, not a VZW.

+ PRESS

The 2024 metamorphosis edition, #WECANDANCE24, promises two back-to-back weekends of high-energy day and nighttime clubbing on the beach.

The creative revolution of our festival, led by Studio Dennis Vanderbroeck, is not just a glow-up; it’s a transformative journey, not only for our own team but also for our visitors. With ‘Drop in the Light, Rise in the Dark,’ #WECANDANCE24 promises a rave revolution that embraces both the bright and dark sides of life. On the beach of Zeebrugge, our visitors will immerse themselves in an energetic and raw setting during two intense club weekends in August, where chaos and ecstasy come together.
